Brian Culbreath is an innovative servant leader with over two decades of experience in design and development. His journey began at Fisk University, where he earned a degree in Biology, honing a meticulous attention to detail that would later become a hallmark of his career. An unexpected opportunity to manage a church website sparked his passion for design, leading to a transformative career shift.

A self-taught coder, Brian masterfully merges design principles, branding, user experience, and marketing for both print and web. His ability to integrate these disciplines has defined a career marked by continuous learning and adaptation. As a full-stack developer and designer, Brian stays at the forefront of technology, consistently pushing the boundaries of creativity and functionality.

In 2018, Brian joined Oracle as a Web Designer & Developer within the Real Estate and Facilities (REF) organization. Here, he has played a crucial role in front-end development and supported the REF Communications Director, with his contributions spanning Oracle’s global operations across NAM, EMEA, and JAPAC regions. Brian has been instrumental in the development of the integrated Places application, a tool vital to Oracle employees worldwide, and has championed the advancement of Oracle’s Redwood design aesthetic in applications, marketing, and employee engagement. His design philosophy is deeply rooted in accessibility, diversity, and creating exceptional user experiences.

Beyond Oracle, Brian’s impact is felt through his collaboration with thought leaders and his dedication to amplifying underrepresented voices within the company. As the Brand Lead for ABLE, a role he has held for four years, Brian has been key in promoting inclusion and providing strategic support to Oracle’s employee resource groups (ERGs) through thoughtful design and marketing initiatives.

Based in the Albuquerque, NM metro area, Brian is also the Marketing Director for his church. He balances his professional pursuits with active membership in the Iota Psi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he upholds the fraternity’s values of brotherhood, scholarship, and service through community engagement. Brian Culbreath’s career exemplifies a steadfast commitment to design excellence, leadership, and service, driven by a passion to make a meaningful impact in every endeavor.
